Est. 2016, Kalamazoo, MI
Join us at Webster’s Prime in the swanky Radisson Hotel every first Friday for our Stories & Songs – Kalamazoo’s Songwriter Showcase series, hosted by singer-songwriter and recording artist Carrie McFerrin. The format of the show is inspired by Nashville’s historic Bluebird Cafe, where performers share songs in-the-round for a truly unique and intimate listening experience. Each month’s lineup is thoughtfully curated and features both top local and touring artists. Audiences are treated to these artists’ songs as well as the inspiration and often funny stories behind them. You may even witness magical impromptu collaborations!
This show series is held in conjunction with Kalamazoo Art Hop, sponsored by the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo. Webster’s Prime is an official stop on the Art Hop map and showcases work by a different visual artist during each show. The artists are present to chat about their work and often the art is for sale.
